Seems you've stumbled across my blog...it's just a little patch of pictures and posts; nothing fancy. In all things on this blog (and in my life), I aim to glorify the Lord and magnify His name! He, in His perfect and divine plan, called me by name, redeemed me, and is constantly forming and shaping me in His likeness. He chose me out of the goodness of His grace, to be a child; an heir; a light on a hill; a servant of the Lord.

The adventures of Mousey and Dimwit...

Some of you might have heard, but my car broke recently...Monday after midnight to be exact. My dad took the time to 'revive' it last night - THANK YOU DAD!!
So, I'm sure SOME of you are thinking "uh-oh, never get in the car with Amy driving again!!", but allow me to explain - I am not responsible for this damage on my car! You've all heard the phrase 'my dog ate my homework'? Well, MY dog ate (damaged really, but oh well!) my Jeep! It's true, I promise, and I have pictures to show you the damage done by my dog's horrible deed.

part of the damage done... see, he scratched up the paint!!... REALLY BADLY!! A-ha! doggy hair! Evidence that 'Dimwit' did it!!

So now you're probable thinking "uh-oh, never go to Amy's house again - she has a demon dog that will destroy my car!!", but that really is not the case. Here is the theory that my family and I have come up with: a rodent (most likely a mouse) was scurrying along from our garage to somewhere, or from somewhere to our garage (because it knew that we had dog food in the garage and it wanted a midnight snack), and my dog caught on to it's scent. Being the type of dog that follows his nose, Sargeant rook off towards 'Mousey', and got between him and his destination. When Mousey saw that my dog (the brave, but dimwitted dog) was attempting to send it to Mouse Heaven, it took refuge in the underside of my Jeep. Of course, Sargeant could not simply allow the mouse to seek refuge, but absolutely had to pursue it! Give him death or give him Mousey! But, as you can tell, while my (brave but dimwitted) dog attempted to send Mousey onward to Mousey Heaven, he severed four wires on the underside of the Jeep, and scratched up the paint terribly, thus rendering my car 'broken' (it would not start and supposedly had an empty fuel tank). Thus, the adventures of Mousey and Dimwit!
Thank you Lord, and thank you dad, the Jeep is fixed now! All is well in the land of the Jeep. Well, except for the scratched up paint. SO, that is what happened to the Jeep. Wonderful experience really...NOT

...Oh, and for those of you wondering what happened to Mousey, as far as I know, he escaped Mousey Heaven. Temporarily at least.

Until next time,
Beloved
